Method
Place the 4 chicken breast halves in a 9 inches by 13 inches baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the ground ginger, soy sauce, dried minced onion, packed brown sugar, bourbon, and garlic powder.
Mix the ingredients together thoroughly and pour the mixture over the chicken.
Cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator. Allow to marinate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 325 °F.
Remove the dish from the refrigerator and remove the cover.
Bake in the preheated oven, basting frequently, for 1.5 hour or until the chicken is well browned and the juices run clear.
